The Journal of Research in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy is a research journal published by the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in collaboration with the Iranian Association for Psychotherapy Studies. This journal has been published since 2024.

The Journal of Research in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy is an open access scientific journal published quarterly in Persian and with English abstracts by the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in collaboration with the Iranian Association for Psychotherapy Studies. It is also licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance under registration number 92050.

The Journal of Research in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy is published with the aim of promoting theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of psychology, especially in the fields of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of mental and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents. This journal provides a scientific and research platform for the exchange of ideas, new findings and scientific achievements between professors, researchers, mental health professionals and students of related fields. This journal, with a scientific-research approach and strict adherence to ethical principles in research, publishes original articles, reviews, and case studies in fields related to child and adolescent psychotherapy and interdisciplinary fields. All articles are evaluated by expert and expert referees in the peer review process after receipt to ensure the scientific quality and credibility of the research.

The mission of the journal is to promote applied knowledge and scientific evidence in child and adolescent psychotherapy and to help improve the level of mental health in society. By publishing reliable and up-to-date research, this journal strives to pave the way for improving the quality of psychological services, expanding evidence-based interventions, and developing new treatment methods in Iran and the world.
